Do you have a CRACKED TUB or SHOWER FLOOR?

Is your fiberglass or acrylic bathtub or shower floor beginning to break, crack or leak? If so, this is a serious problem that cannot be ignored. Water will collect beneath your bathtub or shower, causing potential mold along with a series of other detrimental issues. The longer you wait, the worse the problem becomes.

How do Inlays work?

  • The Surface Doctors make a template of the floor of your bathtub or shower.
  • The inlay is custom fabricated according to specifications of your fixture and secured using a
    waterproof marine adhesive.
  • NO DEMOLITION or messy sanding dust.
  • 24 hours later you can use your tub or shower.
  • The inlay has a slip resistant texture and is cared for the same as a fiberglass bathtub or shower surface.

Will the tub or shower floor crack again?

No. We carefully assess the damage to your fixture and make all necessary repairs before installation to make sure it won’t crack again.

For spongy tub or shower floors, for example, we use a high density foam that fills the void between the underside of your tub and the subfloor it sits on. This method eliminates the possibility of movement or flex that caused the crack in the first place.

Customer Review:
I moved into my house 6 months ago, and just recently noticed a crack on the bottom of my bathtub! After further investigation, I noticed a water stain on the ceiling of my downstairs bathroom. I thought I would have to replace the bathtub, tile , replace plumbing etc… Thousands of dollars of cost were dancing in my head. I am so glad I found the Surface Doctors. Gunnar explained an inlay system that will not only fix the hole, but correct the apparent reason why the floor was moving in the first place. I would highly recommend Gunnar and his company to anybody in this situation.
